Setting up your standing desk properly
Buying a motorised desk isn't enough: badly set up, it's useless. Three simple adjustments are enough to turn a seated day into a healthy posture.
The right height, sitting then standing
Sitting, your elbows form a 90° angle and your feet rest flat. Standing, raise the top until your forearms are horizontal without lifting your shoulders. Save both positions: this is where height memory becomes essential.
Alternate, without overdoing it
The classic mistake is standing for hours at once. Aim for short cycles instead: 30 to 45 minutes sitting, 15 standing. A reminder in the app helps you not forget. The goal isn't to stop sitting, but to move regularly.
The Fleetiox verdict
A dual-motor desk with 4 saved heights is the minimum to keep the habit over time. Add a good ergonomic chair: the two complement each other, one doesn't replace the other.
